Is it really likely that there are overcharges on my telephone bill?

Though it is hard to say without looking at your bills, there is a very good possibility that there are overcharges.

How can CRG Telecom save me money?

We thoroughly review all the services you are using, verifying the rate you are getting is accurate and fair, see if the combination of your services compliment each other, and make recommendations for the most cost efficient mix of services. The result is cost savings recommendations that you can accept or decline.

How long does a project like this take?

The typical audit requires approximately 90 days. This is dependent on the response and cooperation provided by all parties involved. There will be several updates throughout the project and a written report outlining our recommendation at the completion.

How much of my time is required for this project?

One of the great things about conducting an audit is that very little of you and your staff’s time is required. Once we are provided the items needed to get started, there may be some questions to answer, however, our staff will conduct the audit in our offices and only involve you if necessary. If you would prefer to be more involved in this process than we welcome the input.

What is your fee for the Cost Reduction Audit?
We offer flexible fee structures to meet your needs. The most popular approach is a contingency based fee structure — our fee is based on a percentage of the savings or refunds we generate for you projected over a period of time. This desirable method doesn’t take money out of your budget because the fee comes out of money that is already being paid to your vendors. We can also set up a fixed fee for an audit or a combination of both.

We have our accounts payable person look over our phone bills. Why do we need CRG Telecom?

Though your staff may review your bills, the bill format provided by the phone company does not always itemize the charges. Our seasoned consultants will review the actual billing records for your accounts, interpret the cryptic billing codes, and verify all the rates and services.

We have an in-house telecommunications staff? Shouldn’t they do this for us?

Typically, an in-house staff deals with the day to day operations of your telecommunications system. They rarely have the time or the rates-and tariff expertise needed to do the type of in-depth analysis that CRG Telecom can provide for you.

What is need to get started?
  • A signed Letter of Agreement
  • Two original copies of Letter of Agency(sample provided) on your letterhead
  • One complete copy of the representative months’ bills to be audited (usually the most recent month)
  • Name and phone number of designated contact person
